R&D Food Technologist

As the R&D Technician you will be involved in new product implementation from beginning to end in the follow ways:

• Sourcing raw ingredients
• Recommend formulation or process changes where needed
• Accompany customers during onsite visits
• Keep up on and communicate industry updates
• Utilize industry knowledge and Genesis program to assist with labeling requirements and regulations
• Work closely with Sales and Customer Services to prioritize projects

General Requirements for this position include:

• Proven customer service skills
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
• General industry knowledge of product formulations
• Knowledge of basic nutritional labeling requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or related field, Food Preparation or Culinary certification, or extensive experience in product formulations and food safety
