500 The Lakes Parkway Griffin, GA. Hours: 1st Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday Pay Rate: $18.50 What you will do: Responsible for start-up, operation, change over, shut down and preventative maintenance of assigned production equipment. Equipment may include, but not limited to, production line equipment, forklifts, or other power equipment. Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with Company Safety Policy. Perform manual tasks such as: loading and supplying production line items, reworking product, and loading conveyors. Quality Assurance and testing compliance according to Company and/or designated facility standards. Ability to inspect your own work as well as that of other associates. Provide general plant, production line and facility clean up (5S). Identify and recommend continuous improvement ideas. Other duties and responsibilities as required. REQUIREMENTS: KNOWLEDGE Minimum 1 year experience Continuous improvement knowledge (preferred) SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to operate hand tools efficiently Ability to connect wire harnesses efficiently Ability to learn and rotate through all production and support roles ABILITIES Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency. Work efficiently self-directed or in a team environment. Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds. Work cooperatively within a team environment Flexible work hours to account for over time as needed Ability to bend and squat Physical
