Security GuardThis position REQUIRES a Florida Security D license as well as a Florida Security G licenseMaintain safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff by patrolling and monitoring the premises.Job ResponsibilitiesSecure premises and patients, visitors, and staff by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entryIdentify potential security risks and respond accordinglyRespond to emergency situations to provide necessary assistance to staff and customersConfronts unauthorized persons for questioning, routes or detains them, or telephones police for assistance, according to circumstancesEnsure the security, safety, and well-being of all patients, staff, visitors, and the premisesEscalate emergency situations to law enforcement as neededEscorts staff to and from parking lots as requestedObtain help by sounding alarmsReport suspicious activity, criminal behavior, and security breachesPrevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassersControl traffic by directing drivers when necessary (ie, life flight; vaccination station)Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signaturesMaintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirementsProvide excellent customer serviceAssist staff and visitors with concerns they may haveAdhere to all company service and operating standardsRemain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulationsProtect the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issuesFollow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, patrolling premises regularly, traffic control, and accident investigationsQualificationsLicensed in the State of Florida This position REQUIRES a Florida Security D license as well as a Florida Security G licensePrevious security related work experience requiredProficient written and oral communication skillsWorking knowledge of basic security techniquesOutstanding surveillance skills and attention to detailOutstanding judgement, objectivity, dependability, emotional control, and integrityAbility to remain calm and respond quickly in stressful situationsAdditional InformationNo person shall on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability, gender, including pregnancy, age, or sexual orientation, be excluded from participation in, be denied benefits of, or otherwise be subjected to discrimination.By clicking the link above or any third-party link within this posting, you are leaving this site and going to a third-party website where the third-party website's terms and privacy policy applyJob LocationI'm interested
