Lead Data Integration Engineer

Salary: $90,000 - 135,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• We require 5+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, BASH shell, KSH, and JavaScript.
• We require working knowledge of JSON, including creating, parsing, validating, and troubleshooting JSON payloads for configuration files, APIs, or system integrations.
• We require experience with networking and firewall configurations.
• We require experience working with Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems, including log file review.
• We require experience protecting confidential and highly confidential database data.
• We require experience with full life cycle development and end-to-end testing.
• We require a strong commitment to security-minded decision-making in daily work.
• Preferred: we value 3+ years of combined experience across multiple RDBMS platforms such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL.

• Preferred: we value experience with data lake and data warehouse platforms.
• Preferred: we value demonstrated success leading innovative or large-scale initiatives.

• We provide database platform services that support our business areas.
• We deploy, manage, and maintain database technologies and services in line with best practices and compliance requirements.
• We drive consistency and supportability across the environment while identifying enhancement and design opportunities.
• We maintain a secure, scalable, and reliable database environment for our customers now and in the future.
• We design, develop, and modify a variety of technology components as part of the Data Integration team.
• We research advanced and emerging capabilities to shape ongoing technology direction and strategy.
• We serve as a subject matter expert in multiple technology areas and represent our team positively inside and outside the department.
• We lead analyses and provide practical recommendations for Enterprise Mobility solutions.
• We guide less senior team members and help ensure deadlines are met.
• We monitor key performance metrics to confirm compliance with established standards, processes, and procedures.
• We identify process improvements, standardization opportunities, and architectural enhancements to existing platforms.
• We propose recommendations to developers and architects and partner with team members to implement them.
• We participate in an on-call rotation.
