Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:

The Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including general ultrasound, obstetric, small parts, and vascular studies, to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning. The role requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment and ensuring accurate image acquisition for interpretation.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Conduct a variety of ultrasound procedures such as general US, OB, small parts, and vascular US (upper and lower venous and arterial).
  
  
• 
  Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, adhering to department protocols.
  
  
• 
  Accurately document and record imaging findings within the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to facilitate timely diagnoses.
  
  
• 
  Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
  
  
• 
  Manage workload efficiently, averaging approximately 35 scans per day, and prioritize cases accordingly.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Certified in BLS and possess a valid WV license.
  
  
• 
  Hold ARDMS and/or RVT certification, with arterial extremity Doppler experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Have at least 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience, including vascular US.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with Siemens S2000 and EMR-Community Works.
  
  
• 
  Able to multitask effectively in high-volume settings.
  
  
• 
  Willing to accept first-time travel assignments and work 12-hour shifts.
