Welder A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering, and construction firm is seeking a welder to help them support project preparation, laboratory testing, and maintenance while ensuring safe, accurate, and timely testing at their Ponder, TX location. Your hands-on support will help the team meet customer needs and project requirements. Your day includes: Follow testing schedules and assist with testing to meet customer and project needs. Review materials, equipment, samples, and fixtures to ensure they are ready for testing. Prepare samples and fixtures according to test specifications and applicable standards. Cut, weld, assist the welder, and support the construction manager as directed. Clean work areas, collect samples after testing, maintain laboratory equipment, and promote a safe work environment. Must haves: High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated proficiency in stick / SMAW welding. Ability to follow test specifications, safety procedures, schedules, and project-specific training requirements. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn testing procedures.
