Staff Accountant

Staff AccountantOur client, within the manufacturing and consumer goods industry, is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team! This will be an onsite role working out of their office in Hillside, NJ. The successful candidate will bring strong corporate accounting knowledge, possess excellent attention to detail, and have the ability to work within a fast-paced environment.Role Overview:Pay: $65,000 - $70,000Schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remoteResponsibilities:Participate in and support the monthly-close processPrepare and post journal entriesPerform balance sheet analysis and reconciliationsSupport inventory accounting and the purchasing processAssist with royalty accounting analysis as neededPrepare documents for annual audits and special projects as assignedRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required0-3 years of corporate accounting experience (internship experience included)Knowledge of financial statements and monthly-close processesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, x/vlookups, etc.)ERP system experience is required, Sage X3 experience is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
