Foreman - Commercial Construction

Our fall protection company is currently seeking an experienced Foreman in Commercial Construction to join us on a full-time basis.

In this role you will be working and leading the installation of structural steel parts, fall protection systems, railing systems and other miscellaneous systems. Extensive experience in the construction and installation trades is a must. You will work with a small crew (2-4 workers).

Week day / overnight travel is required. There is some weekend travel. Please do not apply if you are not willing or able to travel.

Our ideal candidate will have good organization and communication skills. They will also have the desire and capability to take on additional responsibilities and opportunities as needed. A positive attitude with a desire to learn and work hard is necessary.

Minimum Requirements include:

• MINIMUM 10 YEARS EXPERIENCE in construction trades.
• MINIMUM 2 YEARS of foreman experience.
• Valid driver’s license
• Required to be out of Charleston, SC for 6am call times
• Experience with boom lifts, scissor lifts and forklifts
• Experience with structural steel installation and rigging is preferred
• Ability to layout projects accurately and to plan
• Intermediate knowledge of wood working, concrete, roofing, electrical and mechanical work
• Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans and other specifications
• Strong working knowledge and commitment to job site safety
• Basic understanding of email and computers
• The ability to work at heights
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• The person in this role must remain drug-free.
• A clean background is required for Military Base Access.
