Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients, tailoring therapeutic approaches based on these evaluations. \n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to discuss client progress and treatment plans, ensuring a cohesive approach towards their mental health goals. \n
- Maintain a structured schedule of appointments and necessary follow-ups, including home visits as needed for personalized observations. \n
- Ensure adherence to established program plans through consistent observation and data analysis, capturing client progress and areas needing attention. \n
- Engage actively in interdisciplinary meetings, contributing insights and recommendations to enhance client care strategies. \n
- Document detailed monthly and quarterly notes to track progress, providing clients and stakeholders with relevant updates. \n
- Lead training sessions for staff to promote competence in program implementation and documentation practices. \n
- Serve as a liaison to the mental health community and the public, sharing information to support stakeholder engagement and collaboration. \n
- Develop and refine training materials and operational procedures to optimize client-centered programs. \n
- Facilitate follow-up interactions through interviews and evaluations to provide ongoing guidance and support to clients. \n
In your role, you will engage with a diverse client base, including both adults and youth. This varied population may face challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, family dynamics, and substance abuse. We encourage our counselors to specialize in areas such as family therapy or couples therapy to meet the specific needs of our communities effectively.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. \n
- Possess an active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Oregon. \n
- Demonstrable experience of at least 2 years in a clinical counseling setting. \n
- A strong understanding of ethical and legal standards related to mental health practice. \n
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to form rapport with clients from various backgrounds. \n
- Experience working collaboratively within a healthcare team setting. \n
- Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and other relevant technologies to maintain accurate client records. \n

- Specialized experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly desirable. \n
- Previous involvement with community health initiatives or public health organizations is a plus. \n
- Experience leading training sessions or workshops on mental health topics will also be advantageous. \n
