A pharmacy technician position is available for a per diem opportunity in Charlottesville, VA. The role involves supporting pharmacy operations by distributing prescribed medications and providing accurate and helpful information to patients regarding their use. Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (9-hour shifts)
• Total hours: 90 over two consecutive workweeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications prescribed by healthcare practitioners
• Offer clear and courteous guidance to customers about their prescriptions
• Maintain a high standard of customer service while working in a fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Virginia Pharmacy Technician License
• Previous experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings is strongly preferred
• Commitment to reliability and excellent communication skills
