Driver Recruiter

This position identifies and hires qualified drivers to support our recruiting goals and business growth. This role makes a significant impact to the organization, while working in a collaborative and open culture. Successful candidates will have a positive, upbeat attitude, and a competitive personality. Compensation is base salary with opportunity to earn uncapped monthly commission/additional incentive, the typical incentive ranges from $10K-$30K annually. Onsite position at the corporate office in DePere, Wisconsin. Specific Responsibilities of a Driver Recruiter: Provide candidates with detailed information about the Company’s open positions and job expectations. Accountable for meeting key metrics within the recruiting area to include meeting call targets, converting applicants to employees, and establishing a pipeline for future demands. Understand the recruiting needs and demands of PTIs internal customers. Responsible for understanding our operations, to attract drivers for current and future openings. Create meaningful relationships with potential candidates and align the Company’s needs with the driver’s needs. Have persistence and a sense of urgency to continue to meet and exceed goals Travel to CDL truck driving schools, career fairs, and industry events to actively recruit, interview, and engage prospective driver candidates. Skills Required for Success : Speaking — Talking to others to convey information effectively. Negotiation — Strategic discussion between two or more parties to resolve an issue in a way that each party finds acceptable. Data Analysis — Using data and analysis to driver performance by making informed decisions. Education and Experience Requirements: A minimum of an Associate's degree in Business or a related field required Two years of experience in sales or recruiting preferred One or more years transportation experience preferred Why PTI?
