Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg (Charge Nurse)Location: Pecos, Texas (Onsite) Work Type: Permanent Positions: 1 Hours: 36–40 Hours per WeekShift Details:• Night Shift • 7 On / 7 Off Schedule (Thursday – Wednesday)The Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg Charge Nurse is responsible for overseeing patient care operations during assigned shifts while also providing direct nursing care. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage staff and patient flow in a Med Surg unit.Must-Have Qualifications:• Minimum 1–2+ years of RN experience in Med Surg• Minimum 1+ year of recent Charge Nurse experience (Required)• Active Texas RN License (Required prior to start)• BLS Certification (AHA – Required)• Strong knowledge of Med Surg nursing practices and leadershipPreferred Qualifications:• Experience in rural or critical access hospital settings• Strong leadership and team coordination skills• Experience managing staff assignments and patient flowWork Environment:• Medical Surgical Unit• Onsite role in Pecos, TX• Leadership role (Charge Nurse responsibilities)Additional Requirements:• Must be comfortable with 7-on / 7-off night schedule• No housing provided – candidate must arrange accommodation prior to submission• Ability to manage both clinical and leadership duties• Must comply with all clinical and regulatory standards
