Staff Accountant

Role: Staff Accountant Location: Scottsdale, Arizona Pay Rate: $27 - $31 /HR Internal Job ID: 10069686 Our client, within the aviation industry, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. Job Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounts payable activities, including invoice review, coding, payment processing, vendor communication, and discrepancy resolution while maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation Coordinate accounts receivable functions by generating customer billing, posting payments, monitoring account activity, and following up on outstanding balances and payment-related inquiries Research and resolve vendor and customer account discrepancies, partnering with internal departments to address billing issues, short payments, credits, and account adjustments in a timely manner Support account reconciliations and subsidiary ledger balancing to ensure accuracy across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger records Assist with month-end close and audit preparation by compiling financial documentation, validating transactions, and maintaining compliance with internal accounting policies and reporting standards Contribute to ongoing process improvements by maintaining organized records, supporting workflow efficiencies, and assisting with financial and operational reporting needs Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Advanced Microsoft Excel experience (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS) Why choose Addison Finance & Accounting?
