Join us for a Union General Laborer Position!

Weekly Pay: $22.00/hr

Contract to Union

Job Description: Shift Time 9AM-6PM (Training 7AM-4PM)

This role involves working in a physical warehouse environment. The primary responsibilities include loading and unloading shipments, recording inventory data, staging materials for pickup or shipping, and managing the storage of materials. The position also requires maintaining the service parts area and ensuring a clean and organized warehouse. General building maintenance and upkeep are part of the duties as well.

Responsibilities

• Help out with loading and unloading trucks within the warehouse.
• Ability to keep up with physical stamina, will be lifting at least 60lbs.
• Assist in mechanical assembly and fabrication of window components.
• Utilize hand and power tools for woodworking tasks such as measuring, cutting, and material handling.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Participate in assembly tasks on the sash or frame lines, involving material insertion and adhesive application.
• Engage in fabrication tasks, including machine operation and quality checks using calipers.

Qualifications:

• Ability to pass compliance within 7 years.
• Experience in production, general labor, and assembly.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Experience in construction or landscaping.
• Experience in warehouse operations.
• Maintain reliable and predictable attendance.
• Capability to push, pull, bend, lift, and move up to 83 lbs.

Work Environment

The facility is clean and organized, with some dust present from materials and warehouse activity. Employees handle and move trim pieces and heavier materials, requiring comfort with standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the day while adhering to safety procedures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
