Qualifications:

• Current licensure or certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional strategies tailored for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Experience with developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with assistive technology and alternative communication methods
• Ability to consult effectively with teachers, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, ensuring equitable access to the curriculum
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to guide educational planning and support
• Develop individualized educational plans and support students in achieving academic and communication benchmarks
