Advanced PTA | Physical Therapy Assistant

Education

Experience

• At least one year of experience in a Joint Commission accredited hospital setting.
• Minimum one year in an acute rehabilitation facility or equivalent, focusing on adult patient care.
• Preferred: Six months of home care experience.
• Computer proficiency is a plus.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the relevant state.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and navigate stairs for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capability to safely lift and transfer patients weighing between 10 and 200+ pounds.
• Comfort working in environments with potential exposure to communicable diseases and biohazardous materials.
