This role is ideal for engineers coming from automotive, aerospace, robotics/automation, or industrial equipment backgrounds who are ready to apply their experience to large-scale, high-impact machines operating in demanding real-world environments. This role will be located in East Peoria, IL where you will join a team of highly motivated engineers that thrive on solving technical challenges and taking ownership of sophisticated projects.Come shape the future of high-performance machinery in a role where your ideas and expertise move from concept to reality!What you will doDesign, develop, validate, and implement components and systems for transmissions, axles, and driveline systemsOwn engineering decisions across the full product lifecycleCollaborate with controls and software teamsWork with global engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing teamsParticipate in DFMEA/PFMEA and structured problem-solvingAnalyze test data and support system validationSupport manufacturing and resolve design issuesCommunicate technical progress across global teamsDegree RequirementBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Agricultural Engineering from an accredited curriculum.What skills you must haveAnalytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.Top candidates must also have5+ years of designing mechanical systemsDemonstrated experience designing mechanical systems operating under load, such as:Powertrain or driveline systemsStructural or load-bearing systemsRotating components (gears, bearings, shafts)Electro-mechanical or automated systemsKnowledge of product design and development processes from concept through productionAbility to perform root cause analysis and implement effective engineering solutionsExperience working in a cross-functional environment with design, manufacturing, and supplier teamsProficiency with CAD tools and engineering analysis methodsAdditional InformationThis position will close at 11:59 p.m. on 08/11/2026.This position will be located onsite 5 days a week in East Peoria, IL (Building KK).Relocation assistance (domestic) is available for this position.
