As a Security Officer - Campus Patrol Driver in Henderson, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a health sciences university location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, alarms, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, classrooms, administrative areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
