What You'll Do

As a key member of the care team, you will:
Welcome and escort patients to exam rooms, offices, and treatment areas
Capture vital patient data before each visit (vitals, height/weight, allergies, medications)
Ensure physicians have all necessary records ready for appointments and procedures
Prepare, clean, and stock exam and treatment rooms to maintain a smooth workflow
Assist physicians during exams and procedures (standing, documenting, supporting care)
Maintain strict sanitation and disinfection standards
Answer patient calls and direct them to appropriate care providers
Call in prescriptions and follow up with patients as directed
Communicate appointment changes, reschedules, and no-shows to providers
Support front office and administrative tasks (chart prep, filing, faxing, reception, etc.)

What You Bring

Medical Assistant Certification or MA Diploma (required)
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy
Team player attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
