Sales & Operations Development Program Associate

The Tone: This is an early career rotational program, the Sales & Operations Development Program, located in Tacoma, WA. Rexel USA is one of the largest distributors of electrical products, data communication, wireless communication, and related supplies in the United States. This role offers a fast-tracked opportunity for associates, early in their career, to gain broad exposure within the electrical distribution industry. Participants will develop commercial, operational, and leadership skills to make an impact and explore various career paths within the organization. The TL;DR Role: Early Career / Rotational Program Type: Full-time Location: In-person Tacoma, WA Pay: $28–$30 hourly Mission: Solve business challenges and contribute to Rexel’s operations through hands‑on rotational assignments, structured training, and mentorship in electrical distribution. What You’ll Actually Do Warehouse & Logistics: Learn the full-cycle supply chain processes behind storing and moving materials, including order fulfillment, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping. Sales: Gain experience in counter, inside, and outside sales, building customer service, product knowledge, selling, and digital tool skills. Operations: Understand business drivers influencing safety, profitability, facility maintenance, inventory, working capital, and customer service, utilizing data and tools for sound business decisions. Project Management: Manage customer, sales, and vendor relationships, place orders, track shipments, coordinate billing, and prepare project quotations. Tailor Experience: Customize the program through elective rotations based on individual interests, career goals, or local business opportunities, potentially deepening experience or specializing in product areas. The Must-Haves Background: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (preferred); High School Diploma or GED (required). Experience: 0-1 years of experience in a service, business, or sales-oriented role for external candidates; less than 12 months of experience with Rexel for internal candidates. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, professionalism, and the capacity for teamwork.
