*Job Summary* The Production Lead supports daily manufacturing operations by coordinating employees, production priorities, materials, and workflow. This hands-on role works alongside the production team while helping ensure safety, quality, output, and delivery goals are met. Shift: Mon - Fri 10am - 7pm *Key Responsibilities**Production & Operations** Coordinate daily production activities based on schedules and priorities
* Assign work based on employee skills, experience, and production needs
* Work alongside the team and provide hands-on support when needed
* Monitor production progress and communicate delays or concerns
* Ensure employees follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements
* Troubleshoot basic production issues and escalate equipment or process concerns
* Help identify workflow, safety, quality, and efficiency improvements
* Maintain an organized, productive, and safe work area *Team Leadership** Provide day-to-day direction and support to production employees
* Lead by example through professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude
* Train employees on production processes, safety requirements, and quality standards
* Help employees resolve questions or production-related concerns
* Monitor attendance, performance, and adherence to company policies
* Communicate performance or employee concerns to the Production Supervisor or Operations Manager
* Promote teamwork, accountability, and a respectful work environment
* Support onboarding and cross-training of new employees *Communication & Coordination** Communicate production goals, priorities, safety topics, and quality updates to the team
* Conduct daily Tier Zero start-up meetings
* Provide timely production updates to management
* Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to support production needs
* Escalate safety, quality, staffing, equipment, or workflow concerns appropriately
* Ensure employees remain informed and aligned throughout the shift *Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies** High school diploma or GED required
* 3–5 years of manufacturing experience preferred
* Previous team lead, senior operator, or informal leadership experience preferred
* Strong hands-on manufacturing and problem-solving skills
* Ability to organize work, assign priorities, and keep employees on task
* Strong communication, coaching, and teamwork skills
* Ability to address concerns directly and professionally
* Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office or ERP/MRP systems preferred
* Ability to understand production schedules and customer demand
* Dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment *Physical & Work Requirements** Ability to work around machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
* Willingness to work overtime or adjusted hours when production needs require Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits:
