Building Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. This role includes maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, fitness centers, and pools, as well as performing preventative maintenance for guest rooms and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment. Responsibilities: • Address maintenance requests from guests promptly and with excellent service. • Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general carpentry. • Conduct regular upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth operations. • Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to support efficient operations. • Perform routine maintenance tasks for amenities like pools, fitness areas, and meeting spaces. Qualifications: • Proficiency in PMS Rooms Management, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Availability for on-call hours, including weekends. • Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Compensation: $23 hourly
