Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and set up a variety of precision machining equipment, including CNC lathes and milling machines, to produce high-quality components. Your expertise in blueprint reading, CNC programming, and mechanical knowledge will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our production processes. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and/or CNC lathes, mills, and other machining equipment required
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances
• Select proper tooling, fixtures, and materials for machining operations
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and organized
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records
• Work with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and deadlines
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• Previous machining experience required
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Experience with CNC programming is a plus
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
