Description for Mechanic:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical faults across mill and yard equipment.
• Perform complex engine, hydraulic, and electrical system maintenance tasks.
• Research technical manuals and schematics to source and order necessary repair parts.
• Utilize torches and welding rigs to repair vehicle components and shop assets safely.
• Manage a detailed parts inventory log and keep precise preventative service schedules.

Details for Mechanic:

• Pay Range: $28.00 - $34.00 / hour (DOE).
• Schedule: Monday - Friday | Day Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) OR Swing Shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM).

Requirements for Mechanic:

• In-depth technical knowledge of industrial engines and complex electrical systems required.
• Proven hands-on welding and cutting torch experience for equipment repair.
• Strong administrative ability to retain inventory records and manage service tracking.
• Self-motivated professional capable of managing a shop with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional daily attendance record and a strict focus on workplace safety.
