ICU Registered Nurse (RN)The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) provides critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment, working night shifts to ensure continued patient monitoring and support. This role requires advanced clinical skills and the ability to make rapid assessments and decisions in life-threatening situations.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver exceptional patient care in the Intensive Care Unit.Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.Utilize advanced life support equipment and protocols, including Impellas and targeted temperature management (TTM).Document patient progress and communicate effectively with family members.QualificationsCurrent registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the applicable state.Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience.Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).Preferred experience in charge nurse responsibilities.Ability to manage complex patient care scenarios independently.Scheduling InformationThis position requires working night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, providing care during hours when patients require dedicated attention.Additional InformationTravel opportunities available for qualified candidates.
