Senior Application Security Engineer

Accounting & Finance Staffing Consultant at FTS We are looking for an experienced security professional to lead and grow a dynamic Application Security Program within a highly regulated financial services environment. This is more than a monitoring role—you will set the vision, drive strategy, and lead cross‑functional initiatives to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead and expand the application security program. Partner with developers, product teams, and security operations to implement secure development practices. Build and scale security capabilities with advanced tooling. Champion secure coding practices and proactive risk management. Monitor application security, respond to incidents, and provide actionable metrics. Requirements 5+ years of experience in information security with a focus on application security. Experience as a developer or working closely with development teams is preferred. Proven experience leading security initiatives at scale, ideally in financial services or other highly regulated industries. Strong collaboration, communication, and technical expertise.
