ICU Travel Nurse Job Details Location: Honolulu, Hawaii Position: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470–$2,600 Start Date: September 14, 2026 End Date: December 12, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: 36 hours per week Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:15 p.m. to 7:45 a.m. Work Setting: On-site cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse Job Requirements At least 1 year of recent full-time equivalent Registered Nurse experience within the last 3 years Graduate of an accredited nursing program Current Registered Nurse license valid in the state where care is provided Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Experience caring for critically ill adult patients in an ICU, cardiovascular ICU, progressive care, or intermediate care setting Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred Strong clinical judgment, communication, critical care, and teamwork skills ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a cardiovascular intensive care environment Assess patient conditions, identify changes in clinical status, and respond promptly to emergent needs Monitor cardiac, respiratory, and hemodynamic status while implementing individualized plans of care Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with established protocols Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal patient outcomes Educate patients and families and provide compassionate support throughout the care experience Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold professional nursing and patient-safety standards Apply now to join this Honolulu ICU travel nursing opportunity and make a difference in cardiovascular critical care.
