Creating Environments;" and building lasting partnerships with a sense of family and shared purpose.Essential Responsibilities:Lead and manage all phases of civil land development projects from proposal development through project closeout.Develop project scopes, fee proposals, budgets, schedules, and resource plans to ensure successful project execution.Monitor project financial performance, labor utilization, budgets, and profitability, implementing corrective actions as needed.Serve as the Engineer of Record, preparing and reviewing engineering plans, calculations, reports, specifications, and technical documentation.Ensure all projects comply with applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and permitting requirements.Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and technical excellence throughout project delivery.Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary project teams, assigning work, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of project milestones.Mentor, coach, and develop engineering staff, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building long-term relationships through proactive communication and responsive service.Identify opportunities for additional services and contribute to business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client presentations.Collaborate with internal leadership to support operational initiatives, continuous improvement, and strategic growth.Promote a culture of safety, innovation, and client-focused project delivery.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.Active Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.8+ experience managing civil land development projects from planning through construction.Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary project teams and mentoring engineering professionals.Strong understanding of land development design principles, permitting processes, and applicable regulatory requirements.Proven ability to develop project scopes, fee proposals, budgets, schedules, and manage project financial performance.Excellent leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and other engineering design software.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality, accuracy, and client satisfaction.Business development experience and an established professional network are a plus.
