As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail distribution location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service while reporting observations and assisting with loss prevention efforts. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun01:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, parking areas, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
