Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: CA state license required; pending license not accepted Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred - Experience with patient ratios of 1-3 - Charting system experience with Epic Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a related clinical setting. RNs will be expected to circulate in cesarean sections. The role requires a commitment to staffing needs, including weekends. Float requirements include flexibility to work within the scope at other units as needed. The RN will assist with high-risk deliveries and postpartum care. Experience with culturally diverse patient populations is preferred. Additional skills necessary for this role include administering medications, IV management, and supporting breastfeeding. The average daily census is between 15-20 patients. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities as required. References are required from supervisors covering at least one year of experience. Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless instructed. This position involves expected participation in holiday shifts during the contract period.
