We are looking for a skilled Line Cook to join our airport dining operation, where every shift brings a diverse, high-volume guest experience unlike any other environment in the industry. At Tailwind, you will be part of a team that values hard work, consistency, and the kind of hospitality that turns a meal into a memorable experience for every traveler we serve.Tailwind encourages Veterans and Military family members to apply!Both AM & PM Shifts Available:AM Shifts: 4:00AM-12:00PMPM Shifts: 12:00PM-8:00PM (or last available departure flight)Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Prepare and execute recipes and plating standards consistently to ensure a quality experience for every guestMaintain knowledge of food safety procedures including proper temperatures for ingredient storage and food preparationOperate as a collaborative and dependable member of the kitchen teamPerform short order cooking in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentOperate the fryer and flat top grill with skill and precisionAssist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace throughout each shiftFollow all health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environmentPrep and portion ingredients in support of daily kitchen operationsRestock and replenish product and inventory supplies as neededInteract with guests in a positive and professional mannerPerform all other duties as assignedQualifications/Skills:A strong sense of accountability for the quality and presentation of every dish preparedThe ability to follow recipes, take direction, and execute consistently to restaurant standardsProficient knife skills including chopping, slicing, dicing, and cutting with accuracy and controlThe physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform effectively in a high-heat, active kitchenRequirements:Must be able to pass a background check to receive an airport badgeMust have reliable transportationBenefits:Paid trainingEmployee discountEmployee referral program401k with company matchingHealth, Dental, and Vision insurance offered to full-time employeesTailwind Concessions is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
