Dairy Queen Team MemberThis position reports to the Manager and is classified as Non-Exempt Hourly. It is available for full-time or part-time roles, requiring flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and some holidays. This role supports daily restaurant operations by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and working as part of a team to ensure a positive guest experience.Competitive pay rate with a raise after 90 days, Daily Pay access, discounted gas, free drinks & food discounts, 401K, referral bonuses, & so much more!Job Duties and Responsibilities:Greet guests promptly and take orders accurately using the point-of-sale systemPrepare food items, ice cream treats, and beverages according to Dairy Queen standardsAssemble and present orders quickly and correctlyMaintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and restroomsFollow food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines at all timesHandle cash and process payments accuratelyRestock supplies and ingredients as neededWork collaboratively with team members to meet service and speed goalsAssist with opening and closing duties as assignedAddress guest questions or concerns in a friendly and professional mannerKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation.Good customer service and communication skills.Ability to learn and follow company procedures.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Strong time management and organizational skills.Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude.Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.Education and Experience:Previous retail, food service, or customer service experience.On-the-job training is provided for all new team members.Working environment and physical requirements:Must be 16 years or older to applyMust be able to stand during the entire work shift.Must be able to work in a cooler at a temperature of 35 degrees for up to 30 minutes.Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Must be able to tolerate gas fumes and cleaning products.Must be able to climb a ladder to clean windows.Must be able to travel up to 10%.At-Will Employment: This position is at-will, which means that either the employee or the Company may terminate employment at any time, with or without advance notice, and with or without cause.EEO Statement: Refuel is an equal opportunity employment employer to all applicants and team members.
