Typical Day Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) for overall nursing leadership within our 54‑bed Health Center. Evaluate the quality of resident care, monitor compliance with current laws, process improvements, and assist in implementing best practices. Orient, train and supervise team members. Assist in resident evaluations and serve as a liaison for team member shift transitions. Participate in surveys and inspections by various government agencies. Qualifications Education: Bachelors or better in Nursing. Experience: 5+ years of nursing experience within a long‑term care setting. Preferred: Previous nursing leadership experience in a long‑term care setting. License & Certifications: Active RN license in the state of Iowa (preferred) or LPN license required.
