MLR is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire Registered Nurse to join our client's growing healthcare team near San Elizario, Texas!
Key Responsibilities for Registered Nurse - Cath Lab:
- Provide patient care during pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases of cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures.
- Full-time, permanent, direct-hire opportunity.
- Setting: Inpatient hospital, Cath Lab environment.
- Monitor and assess patients' vitals and response to procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.
- Administer medications and assist in the management of patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient documentation and records.
- Educate patients and families about post-procedure care and recovery processes.
Registered Nurse Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Texas or compact state licensure.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
- 1+ years of experience in Cath Lab, critical care, or cardiac care settings required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications are required.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
