This is an excellent opportunity for a Cath Lab RN with strong procedural experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and providing coverage during the holiday season. The selected RN will provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and related procedures while collaborating closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary procedural team. Responsibilities Perform pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures Monitor patients before, during, and following procedures Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments as ordered Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient responses throughout procedures Assist physicians and the procedural team as needed Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition Provide post-procedure monitoring and recovery care Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions Follow established safety, infection-control, and patient-care standards Requirements Active Registered Nurse license appropriate for the assignment Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience Previous travel nursing experience required Strong cardiac/procedural nursing skills Ability to work independently in a high-acuity procedural environment Flexibility to provide holiday coverage Willingness to float to nearby locations in Methuen or Haverhill if operational needs require Schedule & Orientation Day shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM 12-hour shifts Orientation options: September 22 or October 13, 2026 Assignment concludes December 19, 2026 Why Consider This Assignment?
