Warehouse Worker

DUTIES:

• Assist with order picking, packing, and display.

• Read customer orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, packed, and either shipped, delivered, or picked up.

• Move materials and items from receiving cooler or storage cooler areas to shipping or to other designated areas for packing and distribution.

• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.

• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing to sales associates for processing.

• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.

• Assist in counting of physical inventory.

• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.

• Sweep, dust, and mop. Organize the warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.

• Responsible for product quality control, rotation, and inventory

• Maintain a system of marking boxes for aging and rotation

• Accurate inventory reporting: personally checking big changes reported

• Adhere to a schedule of which flowers to put in water and when

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Punctual, responsible, and diligent

• Excellent communication skills.

• Able to work collectively with a team

• Available to work weekend hours 

• Work overtime hours

Required Schedule ( Please note, the schedule may vary during peak seasons )

• Monday – 2:00 am – 10:00 am

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – 1:00 am – 10:00 am

• Friday – 3:00 am – 10:00 am

• Saturday - 5:00am - 1:00pm
