You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional surgical outcomes. This position requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.Key Responsibilities:Preparing the operating room and ensuring all equipment is sterile and functionalAssessing patients before surgery and ensuring proper positioning on the operating tableCommunicating effectively with the surgical team throughout proceduresAdvocating for patient safety and comfort at all timesMonitoring patient vital signs and responses to surgeryAdministering medications as directed by the surgical teamDocumenting all aspects of patient care accurately and in a timely mannerAssisting with patient transport to and from the operating roomQualificationsCurrent RN license in CAGraduate of an accredited nursing programMinimum 2 years of experience as a Circulating Nurse in an operating room settingBLS, PALS and ACLS certification required; CNOR certification preferredStrong knowledge of perioperative nursing care principles and practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressureCommitment to continuous learning and professional developmentThis position pays a competitive rate of $63.00-93.00 per hour depending on the level of experience.
