Educational And Residency Program Manager

This position provides direction, leadership and day-to-day management of educational and residency program activities to include administrative support to the Program Directors of the residency programs and faculty. This position assists with accreditation oversight and manages the Program Coordinator for the Transitional Year Program. Acts and makes decisions in the Program Directors' absence, within the prescribed limits of authority.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma
• Associate's degree
• 3-4 years Executive Administrative Assistant in healthcare with supervisory experience

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 8-9 years of demonstrated success in Program Coordinator position, or other experience with medical residency programs
• Supervisory/management experience
• TAGME certification

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Manages all associates recruited to work under this position.
• ACGME accreditation oversight, program policy review, oversight and enforcement.
• Be a people-person and ambassador for SMC and the residency-fellowship programs.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask and balance competing priorities.
• Other duties as assigned
