As we continue to grow, we need talented and experienced people, just like you, to serve as Production Machine Operators. In this role, you will operate a variety of production equipment, including blow-mold machines, grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems. You will need a strong background in operating equipment.Responsibilities:Operating blow-mold machines (including wheels, reciprocating, or shuttle machines) to ensure production of quality bottlesPerforming audits, weights, and quality checksAdhering to quality control, blow mold process procedure, and Good Manufacturing PracticesMaking adjustments to meet product specificationsRepairing or replacing pneumatic and hydraulic linesAssisting with preventive maintenance, mold, neck and blow pin, and other mechanical changesGrinding excess bottle and materialTroubleshooting and resolve process problemsPreparing maintenance request forms and documenting equipment repairsPreparing and documenting daily reports, including rejects, regrinds, and line efficienciesRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent3 years' experience as a machine operator2 years' experience as an extruder operator, preferredWorking knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery & measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skillsBasic English & Math skillsMachine troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experienceAbility to read blueprints, schematics and manualsAbility to work overtimePhysical stamina and strength/able to stand for long periods of timeTraining:Completion of Altium Machine Operator 1 training within 90-days of hire dateMust be able to train on days, if neededBenefits:Competitive Hourly RateMedical, Dental & VisionHoliday/Vacation Pay401K with Company ContributionTuition ReimbursementLearning & Training OpportunitiesReasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
