Production Technician I/II/III -Nights

AstraZeneca's Frederick Manufacturing Center seeks Production Technicians to operate biologic manufacturing equipment on a night shift schedule. This role involves processing equipment operation, solution preparation, cell culture, and compliance with cGMP standards in a facility producing oncology, respiratory, and autoimmune medicines.
Responsibilities
- Operate upstream, downstream, and central services processing equipment per standard operating procedures
- Execute solution preparation, cell culture, purification, and formulation activities
- Maintain cGMP documentation and utilize Manufacturing Execution Systems
- Train on process equipment qualification with senior technicians; perform troubleshooting for non-routine issues
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving on production floor
Requirements
- High school diploma minimum; bachelor's or associate's degree preferred
- 0–3 years bioprocessing or manufacturing experience depending on technician level
- Proficiency with computer systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while following cGMP standards
- Prior aseptic/cGMP environment or bioprocessing equipment experience for Tech II/III roles
- Willingness to work night shifts on 2-2-3 schedule
