Practice Leader - Water/Wastewater

Job Description:OverviewThe Practice Leader will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of our Water/Wastewater projects, and providing technical expertiseResponsibilities· Provide overall guidance on the design and technical aspects of the team(s) projects with particular emphasis on traditional and advanced physical, chemical and biological water and wastewater treatment processes. Experience with membranes and brackish water treatment is desirable.· Prepare proposals and client agreements· Monitor project tasks, budgets, and schedules with Senior Project Managers and Project Managers· Responsible for the oversight of technical and professional development of project team(s)· Participate in developing company design and production standards· Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders· Actively participate in professional associations and civic organizationsQualifications· Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural or civil engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university· Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation in the State of Texas· Minimum of 15 years' experience managing substantial projects from conception to completion including estimating costs of technical tasks in W/WW projects; at least 10 of those years managing projects· Industry recognized professional in one or more of the following areas: water supply, water treatment, water booster stations, wastewater treatment, and/or large diameter pipe installation.· Proven ability to effectively communicate, both oral and written skills, with all levels of employees in an organization· Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials, and community leaders· Proven ability to lead a team of engineers and support personnel· Actively involved in professional associations and civic organizations· Must be able to work 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through FridayIf you need an accommodation or assistance with completing your application due to a disability or special need, please contact our team at View email address on click.appcast.io or call View phone number on click.appcast.io.EEO Statement:All qualified applicants for Pape-Dawson Engineers will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. #J-18808-Ljbffr
