We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer in our Fremont, CA location. The Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing software for advanced test and automation systems. This position requires strong technical depth, architectural thinking, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate ownership of complex software components, deliver high‑quality solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement across the engineering organization. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of software using C++, STL, Java, Python, and C# Build scalable, maintainable applications for Linux and Windows operating environments Architect and implement high‑performance software components aligned with system‑level requirements Provide advanced technical support for customer applications, integration, and troubleshooting Conduct detailed root‑cause analysis and implement long‑term corrective actions Oversee hardware/software integration, including lab bench testing and system‑level validation Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in coding, design, and testing Participate in full lifecycle development: requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance Develop and review black‑box and white‑box test cases to ensure software quality Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Applications, Electrical, and Manufacturing Engineering Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, documentation standards, and code review processes Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field Master’s degree preferred Technical Skills Expert proficiency in C/C++, Java, Python, and C# Strong experience with Linux and Windows development environments Experience with multithreaded, task‑based, and GUI application development Ability to design and evaluate black‑box and white‑box test cases Exposure to tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, Bitbucket, and GitKraken is preferred.
