Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant

Encompass Health seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to support rehabilitation services within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will implement treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist, focusing on restoring mobility, strength, and function for patients in an inpatient rehab setting. You will assist with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and use of assistive devices while closely monitoring patient progress and safety. You’ll document treatments, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and contribute to a nurturing, high-quality, patient-centric care environment with opportunities for growth.
