Key Supervisor - Plaistow

Job Summary:Responsible for providing customers with prompt and courteous service and assistance, replenishing, and stocking merchandise, and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, and fully organized. Key supervisors are responsible for properly opening and closing the store and overseeing retail staff in the absence of the store manager.Responsibilities:Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service experienceAnswer questions, suggest promotional items and provide product informationProcess payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash and store or other credit cards.Process customer refunds courteously and professionally.Process merchandise shipmentsAssist with store upkeepProperly opening and closing the store for business, including:Cash register reconciliationFiling appropriate daily/nightly paperworkDisarming/Arming alarms as appropriateSecuring cash and checksOverseeing retail staff in the absence of the store managerEnsure proper customer service standards on the sales floor and guiding the retail employeesBasic retail inventory management, processing incoming shipments, maintaining an organized salesfloor and supporting outgoing shipmentsProvide employee oversight and support a safe and proper work environment.Perform other duties as assignedRequirements:Must have English equestrian experienceBasic understanding of sales principles and customer service practicesSolid communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to read, write and effectively communicate with customers, peers, and managementTelephone etiquetteAbility to multi-task, while being attentive to customersAbility to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervisionThis position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for most of the shift.
