Stamping/Press Operations Manager

Job Description

Are you a stamping or pressroom leader ready to own an entire press operation? At Metalsa Hopkinsville, you’ll lead all press operations in our chassis plant, with a real voice in budgets, new product launches and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do

\n
• Lead a safety-first culture, with a goal of zero accidents
\n
• Oversee daily and monthly production and hit production targets
\n
• Drive lean and continuous improvement for top quality and on-time delivery at the lowest cost
\n
• Support the Area Manager on budgets, forecasting, staffing, equipment and quality goals
\n
• Support new product launches and programs
\n

What you’ll bring

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
\n
• 5–8 years of salaried experience in a press or stamping area
\n
• 3–5 years leading press operations, as a Press Operations Manager or in a similar role (e.g., Stamping Manager, Pressroom Manager or Stamping Superintendent)
\n
• A significant role in a lean operating system (MOS, TPS or similar)
\n
• Experience with lean manufacturing, quality management systems and EHS fundamentals
\n
• Availability for weekend and after-hours support as needed
\n
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
\n
