Nuclear Medicine Technologist Opportunity
Exciting opportunity for an experienced imaging professional specializing in nuclear medicine. A reputable healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a contract role, scheduled for an ASAP start. This assignment is set for six weeks with the possibility of extension. The position offers a steady weekday scheduleMonday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pmwith no on-call requirements.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 am 3:30 pm)
- No call required
Key Qualifications
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Strong knowledge and technical expertise in all aspects of nuclear medicine imaging
- Experience handling a broad range of nuclear medicine procedures
- Ability to work efficiently and compassionately with patients and clinical staff
- CT experience preferred but not required
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to start as soon as possible
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as needed
- Appropriately document patient procedures and maintain accurate records
- Monitor patient condition throughout imaging
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to deliver the highest quality patient care
