As a (Junior) Estimator in the Construction department, you'll be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring that all bids align with company standards and client requirements.

Michael Page is hiring for a subcontractor in the Business Services industry, located in Boston, MA.
Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Analyze project documents and specifications to determine project scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop accurate budgets and timelines.
- Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
- Assist in preparing bid proposals and presentations for clients.
- Maintain and update cost databases and historical data for future reference.
- Review and assess project risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment.
Profile
A successful (Junior) Estimator should have:
- Experience with construction cost estimation and bid preparation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools such as estimating software or spreadsheets.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
