Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary conditions according to orders and standards of care.
- Operate and adjust respiratory equipment (ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, humidifiers) and administer inhaled therapies and nebulizations.
- Perform arterial blood gas collection and analysis as directed; document results and adjust therapy as needed.
- Monitor patient progress, communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team, and update care plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, ensure equipment is cleaned, calibrated, and stored properly, and follow infection control policies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to optimize patient outcomes and participate in escalation when clinically indicated.

Requirements
- Active GA RRT license (state licensure required)
- NBRC RRT credential
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of RECENT experience within the specialty
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a 12x3 schedule (6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m.)
- Willingness to meet holiday coverage requirements: 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday
- Eligible for travel assignments; no local candidates within 50 miles
