Cashier/Sales Associate - Morning & Midday shifts

Job Summary We are seeking a Sales Associate to serve customers, operate registers, and keep the store clean and stocked. Responsibilities Greet customers with a smile and operate registers accurately and efficiently. Sell lottery, cigarettes, and alcohol while ensuring compliance with age verification and legal requirements. Deliver friendly service and upsell products to increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store’s interior and exterior, including deep cleaning high‑use restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, picking up litter, and sweeping/mopping floor and windows. Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise fresh and full. Cross‑train in other departments such as deli when needed. Follow safety procedures and company policies and assist teammates as required. Qualifications Minimum 18 years old in CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, and CO; 21 years old in all other states. Availability to work weekends, holidays and all shifts. Strong communication skills in English. Basic math proficiency for cash handling. Physical ability to lift 10 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs occasionally. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and a criminal background check. Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
