Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients spanning pediatric to geriatric demographics using standardized tests and careful observation.

• Provide tailored one-on-one speech therapy focusing on areas such as language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
• Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, family members, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Educate patients and their families to empower progress in their everyday lives.
• Participate in inpatient evaluations and interventions when necessary, maintaining seamless care as patients transition through their treatment journey.
• Keep meticulous records that meet state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and peer collaboration to stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet holding ASHA certification.

Certifications

• Hold a state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
